CareersinMusic.com was created with the clear focus of helping musicians and music lover's break into the music industry. There are many music industry careers available to musicians that are just under the surface and might not be immediately known or seem accessible. Our aim is to expose those music careers and to get working experts in their fields teach you how to get into their industry. This is different than other courses that teach a skill. We don't focus on the skills so much as how to take your skills and ambitions and start a music career with them.
My name is Rich Hughes and I started this company with only one book, "Write, Record & Sell Production Music." After I quite accidentally discovered the Production Music industry and proceeded to jump through numerous hoops to break into the music business, I told my musician friends about the business. To my surprise, NONE of the musicians I knew where really aware of Production Music. Years later, after continuing to explain to my peers how I made my living in music, I decided to create a program that would guide one through the process of becoming a writer of Production Music. I began selling the book and received nothing but accolades for my work. People really liked it and started breaking into the business. It occurred to me then, I could help even more people by seeking out experts in multiple fields of the music industry and asking these working professionals to explain how others could get where they got. Modeling people who are where you want to be is a proven method that I wanted to bring to as many people as possible. A passion to help others reach their dreams was born.
This company has one main objective.
