Richard Pryde Hughes III I was born in Las Vegas in 1972. The first song I ever remember hearing is The Beatles "Fixing A Hole." Lucky, I know. I got into music super young with Kiss being my first favorite band, mainly due to their killer look (and the times - it was the 70's!). I had plenty of "Tennis Racket Guitar" sessions in the music room listening to them. I then got deep into Rush and saw them at my first concert at the age of 8. A laser spectacular indeed. My dad was a major music enthusiast so I had plenty to listen to growing up. I started playing guitar at 14 and attended the guitar program at the Dick Grove School of Music in Los Angeles at the age of 17. After school I was in numerous bands in Las Vegas including Mama Zeus (Zeppelin influenced Rock), Automatic Taxi Star (Pop Rock) and The Side Room (Trip Hop). All my bands had quite different styles. I never got the record deal I was looking for and after buying home studio gear, I decided to write my own music, by myself.
