Biography
Hugh McIntyre is a professional music journalist who splits his time between New York City and Los Angeles. He primarily covers the music industry, with a focus on charts, sales numbers, trends, new releases, data, interviews, and more. He has also written about startups, the business of music, advice for artists, and beyond.
McIntyre has now been a professional music journalist for nearly a decade, and in that time, spending most of that time covering all things music for Forbes.
In addition to writing about music, McIntyre has also worked extensively in the field of social media marketing, including organizing, writing, and executing campaigns for global brands, industry leaders and organizations in both the music and theater worlds.
